We are looking a Press Helper for an exciting opportunity in our new Riverton Facility.The Press Helper is an on-site position who assists with the operation of one machine (such as bindery, mail and/or finishing machine). Under direct supervision, assists with sets-up, maintenance, minor repair and operation of one machine.Operates and observe machine to detect malfunctions throughout the production run.Interprets job tickets or SOP's accurately so jobs are completed per customer's requirements.Selects samples and/or proofs for customer's review, as requested.Sorts and prepares output for next step in process.Understands and follows safety and quality requirements.Ensures the team members have adequate materials, tools, and supplies.Other duties as assigned or requested.High school diploma and general education degree (GED).5 years minimum related experience and/or training.Journal level pressman including how to start, prepare and color test printing requirements and knowledge of safety regulations including safe use of chemicals.Basic computer skills.Strong Verbal and written communications to follow safety rules, instructions and SOP's.Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy; pays attention to details.Identifies problems and notifies manager in a timely manner.Interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.Strong mechanical aptitude.Uses self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time effectively.Handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast environment.Benefits:We take pride in fostering a positive work-life balanced environment.
