Description: Candidate will be required to work onsite with Nokia customer near Salt Lake City UT. or permanent resident with ability to work at a military base.MUST have prior experience with Nokia NetAct applications /NSP, candidates without this experience will not be considered. Seeking Service Engineer to provide ongoing support of the 5G environment for the duration of the prototype project. This support shall include but is not limited to ongoing operational support (e.g., maintenance, break/fix, Network Operations Center).Candidates must have the following experience, all must be clearly visible in work history of resume and be able to speak to experience in detail during interview process.1. NetAct / NSP2. 5G Core3. 4. IP/TransportAlso Must have sufficient knowledge on Nokia BTS hardware architectureMUST know how to troubleshoot and collect logsMUST know how to perform OAM, change configuration There may also be network enhancements from time to time during the performance period (e.g., new RAN equipment supporting additional spectrum bands, addition of more base stations).

Key Responsibilities:- Research and resolve Network issues identified while monitoring the client networks or reported by the customer directly and provide solutions for the network and equipment within the scope of support.- Proactively monitor network conditions and take appropriate action when a condition is identified which can impact the clients' network.- Develop Root Cause Analysis and provide documentation or reports to internal and external teams.- Establish and execute preventive maintenance activities, analyze results to proactively prevent incidents.- Analyze configurations of the network elements, recommend and implement any needed changes to enable the proper functionality of the network element within the overall network for optimal performance.- Maintain communications with the customer during all maintenance and troubleshooting activity to ensure customer is fully informed and involved.- Coordinate with any Field support teams and Vendors during maintenance activities to ensure timely response and corrective action is taken to resolve any incident.- Manage technical escalations to engage proper TAC or CARE support for the technologies and managerial escalations to keep management and customer teams informed.- Maintains and updates a Known Errors and Problems database within the NOC wiki.- Ensure any Change Management activity is properly scheduled in advance with the client and proper maintenance personnel.- Prepare Method of Procedure (MOP's) for planned maintenance and review with team prior to execution.
