Job Description:We are looking for someone to establish profitable growth, develop the market penetration for Commercial products in the assigned territory, including building the customer base via new business development. This role will continuously grow "share of wallet" with existing customers, together with the leadership team define the optimal markets and offerings for respective pursuits and develop ideal customer profile, and identify project opportunities and communicate throughout organization as appropriate. The territory includes Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, W. Virginia and Kentucky.Primary Responsibilities:
Profitable growth.
Develop the market penetration for Commercial products in assigned territory, including building the customer base via new business development.
Continuously grow "share of wallet" with existing customers.
Together with the leadership team define the optimal markets and offerings for respective pursuits and develop Ideal Customer Profile.
Identify project opportunities and communicate throughout organization as appropriate.
Supply technical support and project management to other sales channels.
Evaluate opportunities and determine viability.
Employ project management skills to lead technical meetings and discussions.
Collaborate with other WCM associates involved in expansion of the business.
Create and execute a strategic growth plan.
Work closely with manufacturing, Customer Service and Application Engineering to ensure proper specification submission and interpretation.
Understand, evaluate and navigate through a variety of complex commercial and engineering business situations.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Years Experience Required: 5+ years of applicable industrial Sales/Engineering experience in power transmission product sSkills & Qualifications:
Experience calling on technical OEM’s and proposing appropriate product solutions.
Excellent communication skills at all levels and all disciplines of an organization.
Experience and proven success in evaluating and navigating through complex commercial business situations.
Ability and willingness to travel 50%-70%.
Capable of developing and implementing both short and long term growth targets.
Must be self-motivated and goal orientated.
Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Able to identify business opportunities and bring short and long term projects to completion.
Able to build strong relationships with different levels of management.
Experience with CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) systems preferred.
