Description Position Overview:As a Staff Accountant specializing in Accounts Receivable, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be primarily responsible for reconciling accounts receivable transactions, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to resolve issues promptly. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting to contribute to the success of our organization.Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions, including invoice postings, payments, and adjustments.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between accounts receivable records and customer payments.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information for reconciliation purposes.

Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.

Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts receivable.

Prepare accurate and timely reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.

Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing procedures.

Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable reconciliations in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounts receivable functions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable reconciliations preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.

CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
