We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive 3PL Inventory Coordinator to ensure inventory accuracy and fulfillment readiness across our 3PL (third-party logistics) locations. This role is responsible for reconciling physical and system inventory, monitoring inbound purchase orders and transfers, and driving operational readiness to deliver the right product at the right time for customer fulfillment.Objectives and Key Results:1. Ensure Timely and Accurate Inventory Positioning:Ensure that inventory is positioned at the correct warehouse with sufficient lead time to meet all MABD requirements for retailer POs.Coordinate transfers and adjustments as needed to align with changing demand forecasts.Reduce instances of expedited shipping due to inventory misplacement, inaccuracies.Reconcile weekly 3PL inventory reports with Acumatica within defined timelines.Investigate and resolve variances through adjustments, escalations, and process updates.Monitor aging inventory and dead stock; flag issues to reduce costs and improve sell-through.Audit 3PL processes, documenting compliance gaps or misalignments.Stay current on ERP–3PL system integrations and ensure smooth data flow.2. Inbound PO & Inventory Transfer TrackingTrack inbound purchase orders from factory to 3PL receipt, confirming key dates and statuses.Follow up on late or inaccurate receipts, resolving issues quickly to minimize fulfillment risk.Oversee and reconcile inventory transfers in Acumatica, ensuring closure and accuracy.Maintain real-time visibility into inventory availability at each 3PL location.3. Develop and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):Work with relevant departments to develop and document SOPs for inventory management processes.Ensure compliance with SOPs across all departments and update them as necessary to reflect changes in processes or requirements.Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to introduce best practices and technology solutions that enhance inventory accuracy and reduce lead times.4. Continuous Improvement:Identify recurring variance trends, root causes, and recommend process improvements.Contribute to ERP and reporting optimizations to improve efficiency and visibility.Deliver actionable insights and metrics in Monthly Business Reviews and performance meetings.5. Communication Efficiency:Establish a centralized communication platform with participation from all relevant departments.Escalate unresolved issues with clear context and supporting data.Lead weekly issue-resolution calls with 3PL partners, driving quicker resolutions
