Description:The main function of a human resources generalist is perform the administrative functions, such as employee benefits, recruiting and interviewing, along with strategic planning and policy management. A typical human resources generalist is responsible for enhancing company productivity, increasing performance and improving business results.Responsibilities:
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
Plan and conduct new hire orientation.
Support HR manager with gathering necessary documents and paperwork for refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.
Supporting HR department Distribution Center 4 days, Work Tools 1 day.
Supporting Production Employee HR requests
Leave/Policy Administration
Answering Benefit Questions
Supporting Recruiting and Onboarding Initiatives
Coordinating Learning and Development
Coordinating HR Operational Processes (Unemployment Insurance,
Investigations, Organizational Structure Changes, Pay Changes
Executing Communications Plan
Willing to work outside of scheduled hours.
Manage social media pages for Facility.
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience
Bachelors Degree
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Industrial/Manufacturing Environment Experience preferred.
