Seasonal Hire - Pediatrics Medical Genetics TSC ProgramLocation: Texas Medical Center-Houston, TexasCategory: Administrative/Office SupportMcGovern Medical School at UTHealth HoustonRequisition #: 240000IBMcGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center invites applications for a Seasonal Hire position in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Medical Genetics.Candidates will be responsible for working on designated research or clinical projects on the topic of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. This includes, but is not limited to, retrospective chart review, survey design, data collection, data analysis, as well as writing protocols and manuscripts. The students will interact with all members of the medical genetics team including nurses, and genetic counselors.Position Key Accountabilities

Designs or continues a pre-designed research project

Technical writing of manuscripts, protocols, and other administrative documents

Perform data collection and/or analysis for assigned projects

Attend weekly TSC meetings, and pre-assigned TSC clinics

All other duties as assigned including administrative tasks pertinent to the TSC Center of Excellence

QualificationsCurrently an undergraduate student in good standing who is pursing a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) area.MINIMUM EDUCATION:NoneIndividuals must be a minimum age of 16 years.High School diploma or equivalent, preferredMINIMUM EXPERIENCE:NonePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Exerts up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds constantly to move objects.
