Maintain an updated and comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, technical knowledge, OSHA regulations, courseware, and standards applicable to educational offerings.
Develop relationships with regional OpCos and customers and become expert in their work practices, policies, systems, requirements, and projects.
Spend substantial time in the field assisting in job setup, conducting field observations, and delivering on the job training and coaching.
Participate proactively in content development, conferences, customer events, safety stand-downs, and audits as required, ensuring your presence and valuable input contribute to the success of these initiatives.
Accurately and promptly complete all training-related paperwork such as, student rosters, weekly utilization reports, competency sheets, tests, on-the-job learning (OJL) tracking, safety assessments, audits, and credit card reconciliation.
Thoroughly plan and prepare for all training events using NLC's 4-Step delivery model—Motivation, Presentation, Application, and Evaluation—while aligning each session with specific learning outcomes.
Meticulously maintain, clean, organize, and stock Mobile Training Labs.
Actively engage in, and successfully complete, the Professional Technical Trainer development program.
Travel as required to perform duties while always seeking efficiency in scheduling, travel, and cost reduction.
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to continual self-improvement and lifelong learning, while actively contributing to the success of our organization in alignment with Quanta's core values.
What You'll Bring
Experience in the field including training and leadership. (Minimum 10 yrs preferred).
High School diploma or GED.
Journeyman Lineman, Transmission and/or Distribution experience.
Completion of an apprenticeship program.
CDL or ability to obtain.
Crew Leader or Foreman experience.
Public speaking skills / experience.
Speech and hearing to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively
Visual acuity to comprehend written materials, detailed reports, and utilize computerized programs and spreadsheets
Personal mobility, manual dexterity, flexibility and balance to work in an office environment, to sit in front of a computer for long periods of time; to bend or reach to retrieve or file documents and to move or carry items weighing up to 35lbs.
Travel throughout the South Region is required as well across Quanta’s geographical footprint.
Self-book / plan all travel according to schedule requirements.
Travel 100% / Work Remotely.
