Use software frameworks that are commonly used by private-sector companies creating similar services.
When necessary, ensure that software can be deployed on various commodity hardware types.
Create clear, understandable instructions for setting up a local development environment documented in the repository and ensure that team members can be quickly added or removed from projects.
Perform maintenance and enhancements as necessary.
Monitor log files and system processes for any kind of failure.
Troubleshoot errors, find their root causes, resolve failures in real time, and recommend permanent fixes to the development team.
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years’ experience
Experience in an Agile environment
U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
The ability to read and follow code effectively.
A flexibility to learn and support new systems as they enter production.
An ability to work with nontechnical business representatives to fulfill their requests.
Professional Certifications n/a
Years of Professional Experience 5+ years of experience
Experience in Agile environments
Desired experience Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with large scale, geographically dispersed teams
Formal Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree strongly preferred
