Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst - Mid Level to spearhead our efforts in data modernization and processing efficiency in the Member & Master Data Organization. This senior-level role involves leading diverse business and technology teams, focusing on enhancing data quality for critical member profile information, including addresses, social security numbers, phone numbers, emails, and other relevant data. The role will work to retire technical debt and improve system efficiencies. Key responsibilities include engaging with senior leadership, excelling in customer communications, and facilitating robust discussions to explore multiple solution pathways. This position requires a proactive leader who is adept at navigating complex challenges and driving significant operational improvements.As a dedicated Business Operations Analyst I , you will consult with the business to understand and define opportunities and recommends solutions by analyzing data and providing key insights to inform decisions Provides subject matter expertise on all matters of business analytical or operational data needs. Works closely with enterprise and business process owners to integrate data analytics into business processes to improve business performance.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What you'll do:

Partners with the business and Information Technology to meet the needs for COSA data reporting, analytics and project deliverables.

Performs advanced compilation, analysis and reporting of COSA data; delivers key insights and recommendations on data trends to inform decisions.

Applies intermediate subject matter technical knowledge in consulting and advising business partners on ad hoc or undefined matters related to business analytics and decision support solutions.

Identifies and pursues opportunities to utilize data delivery and business solutions techniques to optimize their contribution to resolving business issues.

Fluidly Interacts across key stakeholders to deliver and increase efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting needs.

Applies knowledge of information systems and data infrastructure to provide business and technical guidance to internal clients and shares insights with team.

Maintains an understanding of business processes, supporting data and applications and strategic direction.

Liaison between business/enterprise processes and analytics team to improve delivery, value and integration of analytics into business/enterprise processes.

Partner with technology group to define business requirements, perform user acceptance testing and implement changes.

Assists peer analysts on technical problems.

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related degree discipline is required; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

4 years of reporting and/or data management experience with accountability for complex tasks and/or projects leveraging applicable tools and languages (Example: SQL, Python, GGplot, Tableau) OR Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related degree discipline with 2 years of reporting and/or data management experience with accountability for complex tasks and/or projects leveraging applicable tools and languages (Example: SQL, Python, GGplot, Tableau).

Demonstrated application of knowledge, skills, abilities, and technologies towards work products. (Example: Querying, Data Wrangling, Report Development, Requirements Gathering).

Demonstrated business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver information effectively to all levels of management.

Proven experience of collaboration with various project teams to include business and Information Technology

Knowledge of applicable compliance and regulatory data requirements and ability to develop, document, and maintain policy/procedures in adherence to these requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience with executive management committee and customer/regulatory with a keen sense of attention to detail.

Strong ability to build and maintain cross functional relationships (e.g. with enterprise partners, product management, technology, operations, legal, risk and compliance teams).

2-3 years of advanced technical database platforms and ETL processes

US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
