The Regulatory Program Governance team oversees key Regulations and Programs for the Commercial Bank (CB). Commercial Bank provides credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.As a Vice President Control Manager on the Regulatory Program Governance team, you will provide oversight and governance globally of key Regulations and Programs through engagement with stakeholders. Additionally, this role will provide great exposure to Senior Leadership, insight into key objectives and priorities to sharpen your skills for analytical thinking and problem-solving.Job responsibilities:

Provide leadership of governance structure including specialized champions and program specific forums

Partner with Line of Business Change Management and Legal & Regulatory Change Management (LRCM)

Report the health of CB programs to firm-wide governance bodies

Identify the root cause and key themes/trends to address issues broadly

Provide subject matter expertise to support CB Lines of Business

Develop and execute metrics and reporting

Monitor Quality Assurance testing

Develop action plans

Develop effective presentations & program update material suitable for stakeholders & business partners and communicate overall program progress and recommendations/decisions

Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

7 or more years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.

Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines

Ability to influence key stakeholders, decision makers and colleagues as required to ensure project goals are met

Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred qualifications:

Proven track record of control expertise

Program management expertise

Desire for process improvement

Excellent oral and written communication skills
