OSP Project Manager

Description:The OSP PM manages completion of assigned projects including all permitting, construction, red lining and preliminary As Built drawing approval and municipality relations. Interact with ROW owners including DOT, city, municipality and private landowners Cost & control estimating, preliminary engineering, production tracking / reporting, Site Tracker, 3GIS, etc. Trouble Management, emergency restoration and disaster recovery of network assets Interface with state and local permitting agencies, DOTs and other activities as required. Requirements- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office Applications ( Word, Excel, Project, etc.), Site Tracker, Google Earth, 3GIS and other mapping software Current valid driver’s license Other Skills/Abilities Ability to read and understand design, plan / profile drawings Ability to understand mapping programs and key identifiers in a fiber optic network Ability to coordinate splicing and testing of fiber Knowledge of 811 system Knowledge of grounding principles in an underground utility network Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations as they apply to locating and providing repair and maintenance within a fiber optic networkExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
