Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a diligent Billing Clerk in Midland, Texas. The role is within the oilfield chemical industry and requires a meticulous approach to managing invoices and meeting deadlines. This position involves a high level of attention to detail and the ability to adhere to specific billing procedures for each company.Responsibilities: Manage all invoicing for specified regions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines. Responsible for tracking all Bill of Lading's (BOL’s) and Treat sheets at the end of each month. Account for all Tickets, ensuring there are no gaps in the tickets sent and account for any voided tickets. Enter required invoices into customer portals such as OpenInvoice efficiently and accurately. Reconcile company books with Customer portals at the end of each month and provide report to Supervisor. Prepare Outstanding Ticket Reports by the 20th of each month for Supervisor. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point for reporting tasks. Perform QuickBooks Reporting as necessary. Handle filing duties including BOL’s, Sales Orders, Treat Sheets, and Invoicing backup. Perform general office filing and other duties as they arise and are applicable to this position. Utilize various accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites to perform accounting and billing functions. Handle customer service inquiries related to invoices and billing functions. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Carry out invoice reconciliation and processing of monthly invoices. Maintain customer invoices, including coding and entering vendor invoices. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with IBM AS/400 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions and Billing Functions Knowledge of Claim Administration and Collection Processes Excellent Customer Service skills Ability to Code Invoices Experience in handling Customer Invoices Proficiency in entering Vendor Invoices and High-Volume Invoicing Able to manage Invoice Approvals, Invoice Coding, and Invoice Copies Experience in handling Invoice Data, Invoice Discrepancies, and Invoice Entry Ability to manage Invoice Payment and resolve Invoice Issues Proficiency in Invoice Processing and Invoice reconciliation Experience in managing Monthly Invoices, Open Invoice, Outstanding Invoices, and Payable Invoices Familiarity with Vendor Invoices is required.
