We are hiring a company diesel mechanic to perform routine repairs, maintenance, and inspections on our trucks and trailers in Alamo, TX.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Finding and diagnosing equipment issues
- Brake changes
- Airbag replacements
- Find, diagnose, and fix air leaks
- Preventive Maintenance, fluid and filter changes
- Lights/electrical
- Tire changes
- Mud flap replacements
- Annual inspections, Tanker trailer inspections
We are also planning to have mechanic setup for mobile calls when our drivers are within a specific radius.
> Mechanics with own tools HIGHLY preferred
> Mechanics who are STATE REGISTERED INSPECTORS for annual inspections and tanker trailer inspections are HIGHLY preferred
The pay is going to be 1099 and DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE, TOOLS, and CERTIFICATIONS
Schedule will be Thursday-Monday but must be flexible when business dictates it.
