Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled In-House Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and preventive care of our diverse fleet. Working as our Lead Mechanic, and in collaboration with our mechanic assistants, the ideal candidate will ensure our vehicles are operating efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and diagnostic tests on all fleet vehicles to identify and fix faults.

Carry out comprehensive preventive maintenance to ensure our fleet remains in top condition.

Led our mechanic assistants on various repair tasks, providing expertise and support as needed.

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts inventory and order history.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Stay updated on the latest industry standards and technologies related to diesel engine maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

Proficiency in diagnostic software and equipment.

Strong understanding of diesel engine components and their function.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in diesel engine repair or a related field are preferred.
