Position Information Position Title Professor Equine FLSA Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Department Agriculture Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Salary 3B- Per Faculty Pay Scale Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40 Summary of Position Teach face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or other workforce-based courses in Equine Management as needed and to assist in maintaining and coordinating the CTC Farm and Livestock Center. Minimum Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required, with three years’ experience in Horsemanship and Equine Management.Minimum Required Experience Minimum of three years in an Agriculture or Equine related industry.Prior teaching experience preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of and an active participant in the Equine industry.
Proficiency in the use of agriculture equipment and machinery operation.
Computer literacy required, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
