Position Information Position Title Faculty - Communications 9M FLSA Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Department Communications Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Salary Per Faculty Scale Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40 hrs/week Summary of Position The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective instruction in the subject area, helping to fulfill the College’s goal of providing a quality education for all students attending CTC .Minimum Required Education Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in English is requiredMinimum Required Experience Three years of teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level in English is preferredRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught.
Be able to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students.
Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Ability to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to manage email including sending/receiving and attaching documents
Must have experience with Blackboard
Early College Dual Credit experience is very beneficial.
A successful background check is required for all CTC employment.
