Job Description:

The Senior Leader of User Experience is the primary leader of CoreLogic's enterprise UX department and has one primary agenda: Design the future - to help people find, buy, and protect they homes they love.

Who We're Looking For?

Succinctly, we're looking for a mentor who can inspire a team of designers and front-end engineers to always design for the user and deliver products that consistently and provocatively challenge what their industry did yesterday. We're looking for a teacher who can educate an enterprise about the user and business values of user-centered product design and who can continuously nurture and grow corporate UX maturity levels. We're looking for a voice who knows how to tell a story and can rally the troops around a visionary product roadmap. We're looking for a teammate who is used to, and enjoys, rolling up their sleeves, joining the effort and getting it done! We're looking for an enterprise leader of UX.

What you'll be doing

You will serve as the primary advocate and evangelist for user experience across the company and will manage how the practice is disseminated, applied and improved; often collaborating with and influencing business partners across the company. The Sr Leader of UX essentially creates the company's UX vision and relays it to team members; a vision that is in line with the basic organizational values. You'll be required to communicate the ROI of UX effectively and succinctly to executives and stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for making sure that the UX team is comprised of industry-leading talent to develop best-in-class products for our customers and will be responsible for screening, hiring, and maintaining a high-performing org. You'll be responsible for overall team performance; creating a collaborative space to share great design while also coaching, guiding, and mentoring. You'll facilitate collaboration while managing challenges, people conflicts, and pivots in goals and direction. You'll collaborate with other leaders from product, technology, and business to make sure design teams are appropriately resourced and integrated with the larger organization.

You will support a directed effort to define, document and manage a repo of UX processes and strategy and facilitate dissemination of supporting assets across the enterprise through various means of advocacy and training. You will support and enhance research efforts by maintaining an up-to-date repo; as well as a CoreLogic solution's user community in an effort to make user recruiting a seamless part of our research processes.

You will be the subject matter expert with skill expertise to effectively define, execute and co-manage an enterprise design system including accessibility, UX guidelines and engineering best practices. You'll help establish a strategy including evolutionary stages to ensure system growth mirrors advancements in technology, the needs of its users and the ongoing research of its project teams. You'll serve as the primary advocate and influencer of its use across the enterprise landscape ensuring adoption and proper use while also providing avenues for learning and feedback.

Job Qualification:

Why YOU Qualify Must Haves

  • Degree in design, UX, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of UX/product design experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience of professional level contributors and other leadership roles
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, with deep experience creating and managing a team of UX professionals and delivering projects in a large-scale, complex enterprise environment
  • Success managing a diverse team of skill sets and personalities with a proven ability to grown induvial talents and foster a culture of growth, collaboration and innovation
  • Experience in research, content, architecture, interaction and UI design
  • Expertise in principles of interface design, use of interactive technologies and user-centered design methods and best practices, including Accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Ability to influence decision making across wide a variety levels in the organization
  • Ability to collaborate flawlessly with multiple teams, including Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environments
  • Empathy for Users
