A full service IT Company is seeking IT Network Consultants (NOC) and MSP - IT Systems Administrator Champions to support our Small Business Clients. This team supports our growing Small Business Client base with system architecture and design, NOC Services, Helpdesk and other IT Projects.

You will be assigned a group of clients for which you will perform Systems and Network Administrative duties onsite & offsite.

We are a small effective team with large prospects and vast capabilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Helpdesk Support for End-User Tickets/Requests in the Service Desk

Maintain Clients' network hardware and software and IT Appliances - includes pushing

OS updates, firmware updates etc.

Optimize Network Performance and Implement Best Practices

Review Symantec EndPoint.Cloud Reports - take appropriate actions

Review Weekly Barracuda or Symantec Backup Exec logs - take appropriate actions

Review CW Automate/Kaseya device alerts and logs - take appropriate actions

Work on Custom client projects and requests

Recommend Solutions and may include placing orders from several vendors

Adjust Spam filtering thresholds

Creation of Software Update Patches to be Rolled out to workstations via Kaseya Scripts or

Group Policy

Assisting Remote Laptop Users with Remote Connectivity or Lync Issues

Keeps Clients in License Compliance

Keeps Client Website Renewals, Software Maintenance, Device/Appliances Warranties,

SmartNet Contracts etc current

Performs tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performance of the network

resources

Prepares and analyzes statistics on network utilization and availability

Maintains network support software, analyzes user support statistics, and recommends

appropriate measures

Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary

maintenance to support network availability.

May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and

implement network security measures.

Website/FTP support and maintenance (optional)

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING DEPLOYED TECHNOLOGIES (Preferred):

CONNECTWISE/LabTech Manage & Automate (Admin & Setup knowledge will be given preference)

Kaseya

SonicWall, Cisco ASA, Dell Switches, Aironet, AnyConnect, Meraki

o Site-Site VPN, VLAN Setup & Support

o OpenDNS setup, configuration & maintenance

Windows Servers, SQL & Exchange Servers

o Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/WINS/DHCP, SCCM

o Hyper-V & VM Support

o Vmware ESXi /VSphere Setup and Support

Office365, Lync, SharePoint, Office Suites, Visio

Symantec EndPoint.Cloud

Barracuda, StorageCraft, Veeam

DELL & HP Servers, Client Desktops & Racks

Datacenter Design, Implementation and Maintenance Support

RapidFire, SolarWinds

Veriato 360

QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred):

At least one or a combination of these certifications would qualify:

MCTS, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, MSCP & CCNP/CCNA

(Equivalent education/experience will be considered in lieu of certifications.)

Microsoft/Industry Systems Administration certifications are a plus and would be preferential

Experience with Cisco networking and Exchange would be considered an asset

Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred

Minimum of 5+ years systems administration/ technical support experience in a Windows operating systems environment

Experience troubleshooting servers, and networks

Experience with Windows servers, Firewall/Security appliance configuration, patch management, backup/recovery, and antivirus

Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, VMWare, Office 365 Admin

Experience performing server installations, configurations and support
