Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and process rental applications, including verifying income, employment, and rental history
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including creating online listings and organizing open houses
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Leasing Agent/Assistant Property Manager or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with property management software such as Rent Manager is preferred
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle conflict management situations effectively
- Basic understanding of property maintenance and facilities management
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes and contract management
- Proven sales skills to effectively promote available units
