Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent worker and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Assistant Property Manager and Office manager. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of assigned properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. There will also be optional bonus opportunities as a Transaction Coordinator for Residential/Commercial Real Estate deals. Prior Real Estate experience is preferred but not absolutely mandatory as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.

Coordinate with leasing agents to market available units and conduct property tours for prospective tenants.

Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Will need to be able to receive phone calls for emergencies during Off-Hours and Weekends

Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors, ensuring that work is completed satisfactorily and within budget.

Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure that properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.

Assist with rent collection, financial reporting, and budgeting activities.

Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.

Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Effective and Precise accounting and bookkeeping

Prior experience with Real Estate or Property Management is preferred.
