The Coolerman is seeking a detail oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting team.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk you will play a vital role in managing the companies receivables, process customer payments ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate is a reliable and efficient professional with a strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures and a commitment to maintaining accurate records with an eye for detail.
We are an Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration company specializing in Restaurants/ Bars. We service and install commercial refrigeration equipment.
The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of accounting procedures and software.
Duties include:
Make recommendations for uncollectable receivables.
Meet with Manager to discuss customer issues.
Call on delinquent clients.
Coordinate payment arrangements.
File and archive all department files.
Take and process credit card payments from clients.
Run reports.
Handle accounts that need to go to collections
Generate legal notices and file liens
Accurate record keeping and attention to detail a must
Run commercial ads
Other duties as needed or assigned.
Starting salary depends on work experience.
