Small company in Northwest Houston (SH249/Spring Cypress Rd.) requires full-time EXPERIENCED, honest and reliable warehouse person.
Must be experienced and comfortable using Computers (Microsoft Excel etc). Use of Inventory control software in QuickBooks is a plus.
Job Responsibilities::
- Receive incoming shipments of products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders
- Inspect received items for damage or defects
- Prepare and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items for shipment including completing all required electronic shipping and any export documentation
- Ensure maintenance of accurate records using our inventory management system
- Conduct Inventory control including Cycle Counts as required
- Ensure the shipping and receiving area is kept clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
- Communicate effectively to coordinate shipping and receiving activities as well as to address any issues or concerns
Requirements/Skills:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and software is preferred
- Detail orientated, organized with great attention to detail and with the ability to accurately verify and record inventory transactions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and to apply common sense when given written or oral instructions
- Good communication and skills.
- Must Have own transportation and a valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift Certified preferred but not essential
- Good overall computer parts knowledge and experience
- Experience of using UPS and FedEx and DHL worldwide shipping software is preferred
- Must be computer literate, with a working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook etc.

Candidate MUST live locally in Northwest Houston. (Tomball, Spring, etc.)
Pay - $20/hr - 40hr week
Hours - Dayshift (Mon - Fri. 8.30am -5.00pm).
