Must have overhead crane experience and forklift to load and unload and position plate on roll machine.
Must be able to read drawings, codes, and specifications.
Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Understand metric measurements and standard measurements.
Will ensure all established fabrication procedures are followed.
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, & other department managers.
Must support all OSHA safety policies to ensure they are followed.
Must pass drug screen
Must have valid driver’s license and social security card

Position Title: Quality Control Specialist
Reports To: QHSE/Engineering Manager
Location: Houston, Texas, USA

Overview:
Perform incoming inspections, handle returned products and paperwork, organize inventory, perform assembly inspections, perform outgoing product inspections.
Prioritized Essential Functions:
Major Responsibilities
1. Quality Inspections and Testing:
Perform incoming product inspections and put inventory in its proper place when completed.
Perform assembly inspections to ensure product meets specifications.
Perform outgoing inspections to ensure accuracy and quality of shipments.
Process product returns and assist in customer satisfaction.
2. Quality Assurance Procedures:
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality control documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement, presenting findings to management as needed.
Assist in the development and review of quality documentation, including specifications, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
4. Continuous Improvement:
Participate in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Actively contribute to problem-solving efforts, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement in quality performance.
5. Environmental Responsibilities / Impact
Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to manufacturing.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years plus of proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related roles within industrial manufacturing settings.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to the manufacturing sector.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate quality-related issues and recommendations.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, precision, and thoroughness in conducting inspections and evaluations.
Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
