Honeywell is hiring a Sr. Director Offering Management. This position is responsible for the development and commercialization of an offering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy and process. The Offering Management team works closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.Senior Director of Offering Management will lead the Offering Management department in successfully managing the innovation quality, commercial execution, product data analytics, process governance and compliance of Honeywell New Product Development and Portfolio Management.This role reports to the ESS Chief Strategy Officer and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina or in an ESS hub.Key Responsibilities:

As Sr Director -Offering Management, you will have ownership of leading the overall Honeywell NPD GDM development, which will enable standardized and digitized processes within our business models to accelerate Organic Growth

Develop an innovation portfolio assessment process that ensures financial sufficiency and balanced via partnership with Finance and Corporate Strategy.

Manage & lead the offering management team through recruiting & selecting top talent, coaching & developing the team for success.

Define growth and competitive advantage opportunities by collaborating with customer and business leadership to identify market trends and portfolio integration and expansion opportunities.

Develop, Deploy, Control and Govern 7 GDM deliverables including - Policies / R&R / Training /Accelerator Training material aligned to Standard role & Competencies to deliver consistent and predictable business outcomes aligned to STRAP

A successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage. Focusing on building a world-class end-to-end process, managing the Honeywell

Accelerator digital architecture, driving continuous improvement activities while managing the change control process for all GDMs, and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Partner with Honeywell Commercial Teams to align business roadmaps to accelerate Organic Growth

Control and Governance of Honeywell NPI & BTI portfolio, to drive Organic Growth for the company.

Develop Portfolio roadmaps in conjunction with the CTO organization backed by customer insights to identify potential new offering via partnership with senior leadership and constructively challenging “where to play” and “how to win” choices

Lead launch management processes across ESS priority launches

Deploy standard product development and launch processes across ESS including, but not limited to, Z21, value proposition scoring, voice of customer, and other new product development processes.

Drive NPI continuous improvement, include engaging with offering teams on root cause analyses and corrective actions

Drive product lifecycle management processes and support product approval processes

Lead 80/20 initiatives through active management of customer and product segmentation to drive SKU management processes and commercial actions to create value.

Measure Product Manager performance and identify improvement opportunities across businesses, regions and individual managers

Lead NPI and BTI reporting and analysis at the ESS level

Manage operational execution of Global Product Master Data Management and serve as a leader in Data Management and Governance within ESS

Lead execution of Honeywell and ESS-led offering management initiatives and engage actively with both corporate and ESS business Offering Management key stakeholders

YOU MUST HAVE:

12 + years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management / Business Transformation at Corporate level, or Top-tier consulting firm, to include:

Experience in an industrial environment of large global organization

Experience managing global portfolio of offerings and driving Change Management

Exceptional Data and Analytics Skills

Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies /concept through the organization, Drives development of advanced technologies, principles, and processes.

Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder

WE VALUE:

Experience in working in diverse projects, Matrix organization structure, with solid and dotted line reporting across global sites.

Demonstrated business acumen with the leadership and functional ability to define and implement growth strategies

Ability to structure and independently lead cross-functional strategy projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the company

Experience with project planning, scoping, and execution in a phase-gate and/or agile environment

Proven experience on continues improvement, and understanding of Honeywell processes and workflows

Proven experience with creating and managing a strong MOS

Storytelling skills; delivering presentations with ease, engaging audiences

Proven capacity to be effective in a complex global business environment. Ability to forge solid relationships and manage across broad and geographically dispersed businesses

Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills

Master’s degree
