Shipping Coordinator

Role DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Shipping Coordinator is to organize inbound and outbound orders for transportation planning. The Shipping Coordinator must exhibit and proactively motivate others in the behaviors of the WireCo Business System (WBS):Teamwork - welcomes an environment of inclusiveness and healthy debate that reflects our team’s strengthAccountable – celebrates our successes, learn from failures, avoid excuses, and own the outcomes of our effortsSelf-Aware – demonstrates an understanding of our strengths and needs, considering how our actions impact othersNoble Intent – acts in the interests of others, approaching our work with integrity to ensure the best outcomeDetermined – takes initiative, share ideas and find solutions to win and achieve our goalsTransparent – promotes open and honest communication and constructive feedback for clarity and truthCurious – seeks knowledge and outside input to test our way of thinking, challenging the status quoDuties & ResponsibilitiesWork Order completion in ERPParticipate in daily load plan call with WireCo Logistics team to discuss orders shipping within three business daysCreate and verify details are accurte and updated on required identification materials: barcodes, certifications, bag tags, metal tags, plastic tags, and/or vinyl tags per customer specificationProcess shipments: produce accurate pick lists, add transport notes in ERP, and pull bills of lading from TMSWork with WireCo Logistics team for booking details on all prepaid shipments (carrier information, pickup and delivery dates)Plan and manage outbound customer collect and third-party shipments in the TMSCommunicate with internal stakeholders and/or carriers when ETAs are neededEnsure all test orders are provided on the email chain same-day shipment departsComplete daily variance report for DC Manager with precisionThere may be other duties and work-related tasks assigned by management
