Shared Services Human Resources (HR) Manager

Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our shared services HR team in West Houston. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and guide a team that supports processes in various HR functions.Responsibilities:

Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

Nurture a positive working environment, oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

Qualifications:

Proven working experience as a Shared Services HR Manager

Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)

Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus

Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to direct and manage tasks of the HR team

BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field; MSc/MA in Human Resources will be a plus

This is a direct hire role paying up to 160K plus bonus and benefits.Requirements

Broad knowledge of Shared Services HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

5+ years in human resources

Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

Ability to view issues with impartiality

Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field

Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards

1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

Accomplished in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations
