Our collaboration is focused on increasing access to care through a growing network of leading specialists and revolutionizing healthcare to save lives and improve the health of the communities we serve.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for directing the day‐to‐day operations of an assigned shift of the Security Services Department, ensuring implementation and compliance with all departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the continued education and training of veteran personnel, as well as, the initial training of new personnel. Collaborates with the Security Supervisor, Peers and Officers to maintain an aggressive approach to progressive training.ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for directing the day‐to‐day operations of their assigned shift of the Security Services Department, ensuring implementation and compliance with all departmental policies and procedures.

Responsible for continued education and training of veteran personnel, as well as, the initial training of new personnel.

Supervise, evaluate and with the assistance of the Security Manager, counsel and when necessary take corrective action or recommend termination of departmental personnel.

Participate in the development of departmental policies and procedures; Ensures adherence to same.

Collaborate with various personnel and external agencies to gather and exchange information; promote departmental services provided to the campus community.

Assure proper working order of departmental equipment; notify appropriate personnel when Repairs and/or maintenance are necessary.

Performs the duties of a Security Officer, as needed, to include but not limited to patrolling the facility, documentation of activities and reports as incidents may occur.

8.Assist Security Manager with development of continuing education in order to maintain a high level of competency among the Security Personnel.

Responsible for issuing, documenting and entering parking information for the campus.

Responsible for maintaining Access Control System.

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED

Registered as a Non‐Commissioned Security Officer (TCPS) (3 months grace to obtain).

Texas Class C Driver's License

Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)

Two (2) Years of experience
