It is one of the nation's original three comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute.The Strategic Intelligence Program Manager will help to support the development of critical strategic insights, analysis and foresight to support executive-level strategic decision-making. The program manager will oversee and develop complex data analyses, market assessments, business plan development, and strategic planning initiatives to determine areas of success and opportunities across the organization. This individual will lead efforts and facilitate cross-functional activity required to monitor and assess major developments to the strategic operating environment. They will also assist in supporting other team members ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency of deliverables.The role will partner with the Decision Intelligence to contextualize quantitative insights provided by DI. This position will also work with Enterprise Risk Management and Strategy Execution to support a coordinated approach across the Strategy team.KEY FUNCTIONS
Leads the development of complex analytic frameworks and models using quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources (e.g. Sg2, Vizient) to solve complex business problems and support the decision-making for strategic, clinical, financial, and /or operational improvements
Uses depth of expertise to identify, retrieve, and analyze data, develop complex models and assumptions to support decisions/provide recommendations on strategic and business opportunities of large scope and impact to the organization
Synthesizes and translates analytical and research results into clear and compelling strategic recommendations to Executive Leadership to drive decision-making around system-wide changes, major capital projects, and investments
Develops a compendium of healthcare industry intelligence for review by executive leadership (trends in market dynamics, competitive landscape, disruptors, technology, legislation, payer and provider landscape, which may impact the management and/or future development of existing and/or new programs, services, and general hospital operations)
Identifies and uses appropriate project management methodologies and tools (work plan development, scope management, planning, budget management, risk/ issue management, and communications management) to execute projects
Confidently facilitates large meetings, presentations, and discussions
Supervises staff on assigned projects; including the provision of project assignment, scope, reviews and provides feedback on deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency. Mentors staff on data interpretation, storytelling, application of complex analysis techniques, and best practices

EDUCATIONRequired: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Healthcare Administration or related field.Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration.EXPERIENCERequired: Four years in strategic intelligence, strategy, consulting or a related field to include program or project management/planning experience.
