Payroll Administrator

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Houston, Texas. This role will involve handling payroll processing and HRIS updates, as well as assisting with benefits enrollment, recruitment efforts, and ad hoc projects. Responsibilities: Process payroll using Paylocity software for both hourly and salaried employees on a semi-monthly basis. Assist with benefits enrollment and 401k updates. Update HRIS information as required. Review and approve hourly payroll information and perform cost allocations for employees to the correct cost center. Assist in recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and providing status updates to hiring managers. Support the HR, talent acquisition, payroll, and accounting teams with various ad hoc projects as they arise. Use Microsoft Excel for various administrative tasks related to payroll and benefits administration. Manage payroll for around 200 employees. Administer benefits, including 401k - RRSP Administration and other Benefit Functions. Utilize HRIS Payroll System for efficient and accurate payroll processing. Handle semi-Monthly Payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid on time and accurately.Requirements At least 1 year of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration Knowledge of Benefit Functions Familiarity with Paylocity Experience with HRIS Payroll System Experience managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees Experience with semi-Monthly Payrolls Knowledge of Benefits Administration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
