A Snapshot of Your DayWe are seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager to support the region in the development of field projects on the European fleet of industrial steam turbines and generators. The Project Manager will help sell the plan, coordinate and manage field operations projects both on-site and remotely, as applicable.How You’ll Make an Impact
Serve as the single point of contact for each assigned field operation project on behalf of Siemens Energy.
Assist in developing technical and commercial proposals for maintenance overhauls.
Negotiate and communicate with customer personnel for on-time delivery of Extra Work Authorizations and Project Change Orders.
Coordinate and manage various aspects of the project business, including parts, technical field service support, tooling, procurement, shipping, and 3rd party services.
Develop and maintain a robust relationship with customers by demonstrating the effectiveness of a managed approach to field service projects.
Develop and manage project execution schedules and ensure costs are minimized and margin is in line with project expectations.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
3+ years of field experience on European Steam Turbines preferred. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment with strong intercultural sensitivity.
Willingness to travel up to 70%, including 4 to 5 weeks on larger projects.
