DescriptionVarec seeks to hire a Product Sales Manager to sell our products, systems and services in the oil and gas, chemical, food and beverage and other defined bulk liquid management markets. The Product sales manager will be responsible for managing and expanding Varec’s reseller network, building relationships with current and new customers, and developing a strategic marketing plan for annual growth. The main objective involves communicating with new and existing clients to understand their needs, helping them select the right products or services while considering their budget. Our ideal candidate has experience in the bulk liquid management markets including and can be easily trained to represent and sell Varec’s bulk liquid management suite of products and services. Experience managing enterprise accounts, sales forecasting and excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.Location: Candidate must be located in the Houston, TX area and be able to travel up to 75%Primary Responsibilities

Create business plan to expand current reseller market.

Develops and qualify new sales inquiries, providing technical review, including proposals, quotations, technical documentation and drawings.

Follows up on outstanding proposals and quotations – manage and reports monthly on a sales pipeline.

Pursues and develops new business for Varec product lines in conjunction with Sales Representatives.

The successful candidate must feel comfortable demonstrating automation products and application concepts directly with customers and will be expected to answer a wide range of questions regarding the product lines.

Captures new automation, inventory management and terminal automation software business by creating master purchasing agreements and software license agreements for key accounts.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with twelve plus (12+) years of relevant experience

Ten plus (10+) years of direct sales experience in a technical environment.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio

Must promote and adhere to Leidos Ethics Program.

Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time including International. - strong organization and time management skills required

Preferred Qualifications

Field experience in oil & gas, chemical and other bulk liquid applications regarding inventory management and inventory control and load rack facilities.

Management of reseller network and other Varec personnel.

Field experience regarding terminal automation at load rack facilities is a plus.

Working knowledge of Varec’s FuelsManager suite of products and hardware solutions is a plus.

Ability to negotiate with 3rd party vendors for ultimate pricing and product delivery.

Ability to generate new lines of products and services as needed.
