Join Our Team at Houston RC - no experience in RC needed!
Houston RC is seeking a front salesperson who can greet customers as they walk in, sign them in, and assist with any sales (using an iPad).

At Houston RC, we specialize in RC cars, trucks, accessories, and parts. With a dedicated community of hobbyists, we're here to provide expert advice and top-tier products to customers of all ages and skill levels. We're looking to expand our team with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who would like to grow with our club. No RC experience is needed, and we will teach you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Be friendly and energetic as you greet the customers and assist them with check-ins/check-outs.
- Sales: Assist customers in selecting the right RC vehicles, accessories, and tools for their needs.
- Inventory Management: Help track and organize stock, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are appealing.
- Light cleaning is involved. Lifting Boxes up to 20lbs occasionally.
Qualifications:
- Being able to communicate in English.
- Willingness to WORK! Including weekends.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
- Being a good multi-tasker will go a long way!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn. No RC experience is needed and we will teach you!
Paid training with tons of room for growth. We are looking for a part-time (18-24 hours) salesperson, as well as someone who can grow into an assistant manager role (30-40 hours).
The job will start at $10-12/hr (based on experience and abilities), with an evaluation and a 10% raise after 10 shifts. Then another 10% after 10 shifts. Then another 10% after 10 shifts.
While our schedules are flexible, we would prefer someone who can work the majority of the following shifts:
- Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays, 3:00-8:00
- Saturdays/Sundays, 11:00-6:00p
This position is ideal for a college student or retired person. Ideally, someone who enjoys meeting new people and can multi-task. We are open on Saturdays & Sundays, so being available on those days is a must.
