We are a mom and pop shop near Hobby airport. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have experience in clerical tasks, human resources, and office management. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient work environment and ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly.

Duties

Manage daily office operations, including overseeing clerical tasks and front desk activities.

Supervise and support office staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Handle phone systems and ensure effective communication within the office and with external partners.

Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Manage budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency in office operations.

Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting as needed.

Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff members to optimize productivity.

Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in office management or a similar role.

Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.

Proficient in clerical duties with a keen attention to detail.

Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is essential.

Experience in human resources management is preferred.

Knowledge of medical office management practices is a plus.

Competence in budgeting processes and financial oversight.

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
