Job Title: Office Administrative Manager

Reports To: Principal (Engineer Engineering Firm – Deer Park, Texas)

Position Summary: The Chief of Staff will support the Principal Engineer in company operations, marketing, and day to day responsibilities. The Administrative Manager will be expected to be customer-oriented and work with tenants, contractors, corporations, and other stakeholders to accomplish organizational goals and metrics. This position requires someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as it requires managing multiple priorities and a variety of job responsibilities as directed by the Principal Engineer. The work location for this position is in Deer Park. We offer flexible office/remote work. Some duties may require access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Principal Engineer to develop an infrastructure that supports efficient work practices and work flows;

Evaluate current systems and processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency as needed and implement changes as required;

Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives;

Assess inquires for the Principal Engineer to determine proper course of action;

Ensure all customer/client/tenant issues are addressed properly, efficiently, and keep track of progress until resolved;

Oversee execution of work by contractors and consultants, maintain business space and schedule and attend potential client meetings;

Track and maintain project management software to keep track of company metrics and progress;

Assist with writing reports

Lead marketing and outreach

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues. This includes overcoming geographic and other potential barriers to communicating with and making contributions to the team’s work;

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;

Flexibility in working with new issues, topics, and approaches;

Ability to implement strategic initiatives;

Proven skills in planning, implementation, and follow-through with the ability to develop and implement plans to further the company’s vision and mission;

Capacity to think strategically, critically, and respond analytically

Preferred Qualifications:

Operations management experience
