This role is on-site, so you should be comfortable commuting to Grand Prairie.Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.Job Description:We are currently seeking an experienced E3 Engineer with expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMC/EMI) testing to support multiple Lines of Business (LOBs), including IAMD, AP/IAMD-AP, and TM. As an E3 Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing products to withstand electromagnetic environmental effects and ensuring compliance with system-driven EMI/EMC requirements.Responsibilities:

Designing products to survive electromagnetic environmental effects.

Developing requirements based on program requirements and physics principles.

Ensuring designs meet system-driven EMI/EMC requirements.

Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers.

Setting up and conducting EMC tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 test standard.

Required Experience/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 8 years of E3 development experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a minimum of 6 years of E3 development experience.

Proficiency in MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.

Experience in developing EMI/EMC requirements, requirement flow down to subsystems, E3 control plans, design for E3 requirements, and hardware allocation planning.

Minimum 4 years of EMC testing experience.

Familiarity with lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, RF directional couplers, oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, and RF amplifiers.

Knowledge of ESD handling and prevention protocols.

Desired Experience/Skills:

Understanding of E3 effects on military vehicles, fire control systems, missile systems, and munitions.

Ability to perform quantitative E3 analysis.

Knowledge of electrical safety and military EMC compliance standards, requirements, and test methods.

Experience in testing according to RTCA-DO-160 Sections 18-22.

Familiarity with vulnerability characterization.

Work experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.

Proficiency in TILE!TM (ETS Lindgren EMC automation software) equipment scripts.

Ability to prepare test plans/procedures and reports.
