Job Title: Sole Press Operator

We are seeking a Sole Press Operator to support our sole preparation and bonding process by preparing soles, applying glue, pressing soles, and ensuring the welt is correctly attached using specialized tools and equipment. This role is essential to maintaining our standards of craftsmanship and ensuring consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep a clean and organized workplace to handle various boot parts.

Review work orders to determine the type of sole needed.

Apply glue to boot components as instructed.

Use specialized press machine to ensure welt and sole have completely bonded.

Check each boot for accuracy and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Driver’s License

No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.

Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.

Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Use of hands, tools, or equipment as required

Repetitive motion required in trimming and pressing tasks.

Work Environment:

This is an on-site position at our facility

Work may involve exposure to leather materials, adhesives, and mechanical equipment

Noise level and temperature may vary depending on department

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

6:00am-2:30pm
