Responsible for all phases of the program, including outreach plan, outreach implementation, presenting and gathering data. In addition, implement collaborative team work and recommendations for future planning, innovation and maximization of program metrics.Description of Duties

Coordinates outreach efforts toward health care community to include PCPs, FM, IM, pediatric practices to ensure that required metrics are implemented, attained and carried out in accordance with specified CPAN objectives in Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas.

Manage the day to day outreach activities of the outreach program to include calling, scheduling, presenting and enrolling qualified providers in Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas.

Develop and manage list of providers for Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas for the CPAN initiative.

Develops and supervises the implementation of multiple projects or programs within the CPAN initiative with providers within Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas.

Participates in budget planning and is responsible for controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations for the CPAN program for outreach purposes for the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas.

Assists others in writing and developing proposals for funding grants.

Coordinates the various activities such as enrollment calls, Provider presentations with key Provider at UTRGV SOM , Chair, Department Administrator and Program Manager of the CPAN outreach program.

Coordinates long and short term strategies for enrolling and maintaining relationships with respective providers, including performing feasibility studies and estimating the cost of the outreach program within Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas.

Represents CPAN Initiative for department in official functions to help promote and enroll Providers into the program.

Reviews program records and reports of activities and recommends modifications to methods or procedures as required for increasing enrollment and call to Providers.

Drafts brochures, letters, agendas, and contracts.

May plan, develop, organize, and coordinate research and survey designs.

Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars related to the program’s mission and goals.

Supervises and organizes seminars, conferences, and presentations.

Provides appropriate reports as required for the project or program.

Provides ongoing staff development, on site demonstrations and field based experiences related to project or program.

Conducts formal training or gives instruction regarding program policies and procedures.

Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from the program.

May coordinate and oversee tutorial, counseling, teaching, and/or training activities of the program.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Three (3) years of experience performing closely related duties, including program planning/coordination or related experience in the appropriate area of the program, or

One (1) year of the required experience with a Master’s degree, or

Five (5) years of the required experience with an Associate Degree or 60 hours of College Credit, or

Seven (7) years of the required experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
