Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for a candidate looking for a part-time role, with the potential for full-time engagement depending on fit and mutual interest. The role is perfectly suited for experienced attorneys considering a step back from full-time responsibilities, perhaps transitioning into retirement, who wish to continue contributing their extensive healthcare law expertise. Newly graduated attorneys eager to start their career in healthcare law are also encouraged to apply. While prior healthcare law experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, as we value a strong foundation in legal principles and the ability to learn industry-specific knowledge quickly.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice and support in healthcare law, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, healthcare transactions, and litigation.
Stay abreast of current trends and changes in healthcare law.
Represent the firm's clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
Prepare legal documents, including contracts, trials briefs, and other pleadings.
Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals to effectively manage cases.
Contribute to the firm’s growth by enhancing its reputation through your professional practice.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in healthcare law, including familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance, is highly desirable.
Experience in litigation, regulatory advocacy, or transactional law within the healthcare sector.
