Qualifications
Familiarity with the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies in commercial construction projects.
Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to the work schedule.
Consistent and dependable attendance.
Proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
Reliable transportation is optional.
Willingness to follow instructions and perform required tasks.
Responsibilities
The laborer role is crucial in supporting the project team to ensure timely and successful completion of construction projects.
Keep the job site clean by picking up tools and equipment and securing the site daily to eliminate potential hazards.
Assemble and disassemble ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
Load and unload trucks and transport materials.
May assist in controlling traffic.
Provide assistance to carpenters and other trades.
Take responsibility for assigned tasks and maintain an organized work approach.
Occasionally drive a company vehicle as needed, contingent upon a clean motor vehicle report.
Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
Benefits
Base pay is determined by the minimum wage from the pay scale in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and may vary depending on the candidate’s location, experience, and skills.
Employer covers the cost of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance for full-time employees, with 30% coverage for dependents, starting the first of the month after hire.
Nine days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year initially, increasing to twelve days in July, with further increases each January based on years of service.
Eight paid holidays annually, effective immediately.
