We are looking for a reliable and responsible Maintenance Janitorial Worker to join our team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and proper maintenance within the facility. You will perform a variety of janitorial and light maintenance duties to ensure the environment is clean, safe, and in good working order. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of the facility, supporting overall cleanliness and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitation:
o Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office spaces, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
o Dust and wipe surfaces including desks, counters, light fixtures, and windows.
o Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
o Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
o Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and appliances.
Maintenance Support:
o Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, or unclogging drains.
o Assist with setting up or moving furniture for events, meetings, or office reconfigurations.
o Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify cleaning or maintenance needs.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work independently, self-motivated and stay on task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Basic math skills, able to read and write and provide written info when needed.
Attention to detail, complete all work with quality in mind.
Technical knowledge and strong general repair skills
Must have valid driver’s license.
Able to lift/carry 25 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. as needed with or without assistance.
