There are 3 sweet and well-behaved older guys. All do require assistance with ADL's
You must have direct care experience. You must be available to start immediately. You must be able to pass direct care skills check off
Duties/Responsibilities:
Cares for residents by changing bed linens, washing laundry, cleaning, bathing, assisting with personal care, toileting and overall getting around.
· Provides clients with help moving into and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and with dressing and grooming
· Performs housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands.
· Performs health care-related tasks such as giving medication under the direction of registered nurse in accordance with polices and procedures.
· Maintains records of residential care, conditions, progress, or problems to report and discusses observations with supervisor.
· Serves meals to patients according to prescribed diets
· Ensures all aspects of safety and enforces safety rules and regulations
· Other miscellaneous duties as needed or requested by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills, and close monitoring of clients.
· Requires a strong work ethic, patience, understanding and professionalism.
· Comfortable in an environment in which clients cannot perform basic life duties.
· Understanding of basic concepts of personal care, housekeeping and other care areas.
Education and Experience:
Social Security and State ID required
Clean background
· One year of related experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing, bending and lifting.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
