Led by the Director of Digital Services and Analytics, the Web Developer is a vital member of our web development team. You will collaborate with skilled professionals in enhancing a suite of PHP web applications hosted on LAMP servers.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Systems, Arts and Technology or related field; two years experience in Web application software development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education and Experience: Preferred Education and Experience:

Master’s in Computer Science is desirable.

Two (2) years of hands-on experience in front-end web development, encompassing HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.

Proficiency in developing web applications using PHP and MySQL over at least two years.

Familiarity with WordPress or other PHP based CMS , with at least one year of practical experience.

Solid grasp of database design and implementation, including managing MySQL databases.

Exposure to Android application development.

Experience in crafting responsive web designs. Proficiency in remediating browser compatibility issues.

Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, tailored to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of source management and version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of web servers, including Apache Tomcat.

Exposure to cloud platforms, such as AWS .

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Knowledge of troubleshooting and addressing cybersecurity threats to a web server, or experience with cybersecurity testing tools like Burp Suite, will be an advantageous asset.
