Description We are looking for a Database Developer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be a critical part of a dynamic team, responsible for developing complex custom software applications from scratch, integrating with multiple 3rd party applications, web services and APIs. Responsibilities: Develop enterprise-grade applications with complex requirements as part of a team. Understand business strategy and translate business intelligence needs to the database level. Develop and maintain complex models and logical database designs. Identify and resolve all issues related to database systems to ensure uninterrupted service. Create and maintain stored procedures, views, tables, jobs, triggers etc. Develop new and enhance existing standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for database environments using industry experiences, best practices research, and business needs. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate different systems. Stay updated and provide insight on cutting edge database design approaches, architectures, tools, and platforms. Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered when designing and building solutions. Follow common industry standards and best practices. Requirements Proficiency in working with Database and Database Object Familiarity with EO/IR systems Experience with Erwin Data Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is essential Ability to conduct AB Testing Understanding of Data Warehousing principles Strong design skills Experience with ETL - Extract Transform Load Competence in working with Flat File Proficiency in SQL Database Experience with Performance Measurement - Tuning is desirable Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Willingness to keep up to date with the latest technological developments.
