Surgery Scheduling Specialist – Women’s Care Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Surgery Scheduling Specialist Work location: 8160 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 116, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p Women’s Care Department Highlights:

Here’s What You Need

High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)

2 Years related experience in Healthcare environment (preferred)

Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

Requires strong customer skills

Good communication skills

Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Surgery Scheduling Specialist Process

Schedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies ordered by the physician

Coordinates, registers and schedule appointments for patients according to availability

Conducts physician pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care

Ensures all required tests needed prior to surgery are done

Coordinates and ensures necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc., is arranged prior to scheduled procedure

Schedules any necessary follow-up appointments

Communicates and answers patients’ questions regarding surgery preparation instructions, arrival/departure instructions relative to procedure

Performs other duties as assigned
