Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT.Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be dependable, able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. They may also be required to pass an aptitude test.The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Primary DutiesKeeping lines running for better efficiencyComplete work orders as assignedKeep work areas neat and cleanWorking Safely and following all SOP’s on lock out of equipmentWork on PM’s on the areas that are assignedAble to assist others on job taskIdentify needed mechanical improvementsMake necessary mechanical repairs when possibleIdentify and work to eliminate unsafe conditions and/or practicesCompletion and accuracy of down time sheets/GMP logCompletion of daily PM’sAbility to be on call on weekends when requiredAbility to rewire electrical buckets and motorsPrimary ObjectivesCompleting PM’s on a daily and monthly time frameWorking with line operators/supervisors to keep lines running (be proactive)Completing work orders in a timely matter
