This position is responsible for oversight and indirect management of field installation, including the development and implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures, optimization programs, and other strategic initiatives.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides leadership and oversight of field installation in order to improve project fulfillment and service delivery while increasing company profitability.

Works with branch-level management teams to drive strong financial performance in P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key operational metrics.

Co-chairs the company standards committee, which is responsible for the development and implementation of standards of practice for field operations.

Drives strategic initiatives designed to improve field operation efficiency and quality assurance.

Analyzes backlog and sales forecasts to assist operations managers with capacity planning.

Assists with the recruitment, hiring, and development of field installation personnel.

Develops, implements, tracks, and reports on operations training and safety programs.

Develops monthly reporting packages outlining utilization, backlog statistics, service delivery, and various operational key performance indicators.

Works collaboratively with the Director of Field Service and Director of Engineering to ensure continuity between field operations, project managers, and the company’s Program Management Office.

Supports the accounting and finance organization with budgeting, planning, and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of progressive operations experience in the electronic security industry

A college degree preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Must be able to travel at least 70% of the time

Excellent communication, time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving and prioritization skills

Organized and analytical decision-making capabilities. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, manage deadlines and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally
