Strong knowledge of the commercial property market and construction services. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build strong client relationships and network within the industry. Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills: Experience working with commercial real estate firms, property management companies, or construction firms. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards in commercial construction.Responsibilities:We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Developer to join our team, specializing in identifying and securing large-scale commercial real estate projects, painting, and roofing jobs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry, construction services, and the ability to build strong relationships with property managers, developers, and other key stakeholders. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent networking skills and a track record of driving business growth.Key Responsibilities: Identify Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients in the commercial real estate, painting, and roofing sectors, including property managers, facility managers, developers, and contractors. Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to generate leads and secure contracts for large-scale projects. Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute sales strategies that target high-value projects, including commercial buildings, multi-family properties, and large complexes. Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations that meet client needs and align with company capabilities. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new markets. Lead Generation and Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM systems, industry networks, and other tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and ensure a robust sales pipeline. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including monthly reports on growth, sales targets, and future expectations. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with project management, operations, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.What's in this for you?
