Additional locations can be considered and will require vetting and final approval prior to offer and/or start. #LI-HYBRIDBusiness HR Manager (Texas)Drive business performance through an integrated approach, which aligns the business strategy to the human resources strategy. Focus on strategic planning, prioritization, and delivering business results through HR and talent solutions and leading business HR service across the corporation. Partner with other senior HR leaders, company executives and senior business leaders to achieve business objectives (e.g., grow the business). These roles are lead advocates for the value of HR, a diverse, inclusive, and engaged workforce and evolving the workforce to meet future needs. Key capabilities for this role include Consulting, Business Acumen, Leading Change, Strategic Decision Making, Compliance, Influencing, Team/Leader Effectiveness, Data Analytics, Root Cause Analysis, and Relationship Building.Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:

Proactively advises and consults with senior business leaders to recommend HR strategic solutions to improve critical business objectives.

Applies engagement strategies and succession management, coaching and development planning, to diagnose current and future HR-related needs and develops a strategy for resolution.

Actively participates in business unit restructures, realignments, and workforce planning initiatives.

Assist Business HR Director in shaping the nature of HR programs, processes and services delivery based on the business environment / strategy and talent implications.

Collaborate on strategic direction of initiatives with COEs, Employee Relations and Employee Services organizations to ensure alignment and support of business unit strategies and overall HR service delivery model.

Build trusting relationships with assigned business unit leadership and HR leadership team to drive alignment and achieve results

Lead change efforts

Advocate within HR for business needs and removes human capital barriers to business performance objectives

Proactively drive and monitor diversity strategy and other organizational initiatives; developing action plans to address staffing needs.

Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the assigned unit's organizational structure, goals, strategic priorities, and its leadership competencies.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or equivalent related field of study.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years' experience in human resources or experience working with business leaders on talent, diversity, performance management and organizational effectiveness.

Licenses/Certifications:

Driver’s license required. Some travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills and ability to comfortably interface with senior leadership.

Decisive and focused, understands what needs to be done and moves quickly to that end.

Progressive experience in supervisory/management positions is preferred.

Professional designation in Human Resources such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM, etc. preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to translate data analytics to business insights.
