Office Assistant – Sheet Metal Fabrication company located outside of Austin, TX.
The candidate will be a part of the Production Office Team, and will be responsible for administrative, logistical, and coordination tasks to support the Production Team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
· Administrative Support
· Coordination and communication between operations and production
· Data entry, accurate record keeping of materials, inventory, and production data.
· Data management and reporting
· Process improvement and support
· General office and clerical duties
REQUIREMENTS:
· Clerical skills; touch typing, filing, data entry, basic spreadsheets, email and faxing
· Must be organized and detail oriented
· Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or administrative role is preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· ERP experience preferred, not required
· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
· Problem=solving skills
· Team player – ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Office-based role with occasional visits to the production floor.
May require occasional overtime based on production deadlines.
Fast-paced environment requiring focus and adaptability.
Pay is $18-$20/hr. (DOE)
